Kenya Sponsorship Story - Marcie
When Marcie came to live with our family she was inward and quiet, so afraid of us she would at times soil herself rather than make her way to the outhouse. She was so burdened with fear that it affected her abilities to do her chores correctly. Now? Only one word, “marvelous”. She is now very talkative, a close friend to my wife, and very vocal about any injustice around our house or her school.
Her greatest joy in life is dancing, and she can do a great job of imitating me or any of her eleven siblings. However, no amount of pleading will get her to imitate her mom. To sum it up I would have to say she is the happiest of all our adopted children.
